A masterpiece of nature: towers, crests, pinnacles arranged like organ pipes, tall columns towered by a huge porphyry rock – these are the earth pyramids in the municipality of Segonzano. One of the most well known and studied geological phenomena in the world, also for its imposing beauty.

The remains of a moraine deposit dating back to the last ice age, the pyramids are now a tourist attraction of great didactic value. The site is open to visitors all the year round, and can be reached by a specially equipped, clearly marked path.

» Reduced: € 2,00 (groups of visitors of al least 20 persons who pay; adults of age over 65 year old)
» > Reduced for the young and groups of school: € 1,00 (groups of schools; children/young people since 6 year old until the achievement of 14 year old)
» > Gratis: the dwellers in the Municipality of Segonzano; children until the achievement of 6 year old; people with handicap; guides of schools' groups/ touristic guides and of the territory; owners of Trentino Guest Card.

    • You'll leave from Baselga at Apt of Piné Cembra and you go towards the lakefront and the Lake of the Squares. From here you go out from the ground and enter the road of the province. When arrived at Bedollo, you follow the route E5. When arrived at Quaras, you follow as long a hundred of meters until a carriageable road that offers a sight on Valley of Cembra. You follow until Segonzano, where you may admire the famous Pyramids. From here you go towards Val Regnana that links the valley of Tableland of Pinè. By going up through the valley of Mills, you may reach the Fall of the Wolf. The last fatigue permits to reach the Squares and to successively make return to Baselga.

    • Perfect in every aspect
      My family and me spent one week in that hotel. We had a wonderful week, the location is very nice beside a lovely lake. There are lots of excursions to do near by, you can rent bikes just outside the hotel and there's nice paths for walking. There's a path all around the two lakes. The hotel is very clean and the rooms are very nice decorated and spacious, we had a big balcony. The food is very good and we tried local dishes that were wonderful.

      Abbiamo soggiornato in questo Favoloso Albergo in pieno Luglio e già al nostro arrivo siamo stati accolti con Cordialità e professionalità. Ci hanno assegnato una camera al 3 piano che è stato completamente ristrutturato in stile tipico Trentino. La camera era bella spaziosa e dotata di un balcone vista Pineta e Camping, l'insonorizzazione era perfetta...
